I've read about this theory before. They are 1/2 human 1/2 lizard alien hyrids who supposedly feed off of humans' pain and fear. Not saying I believe it.
No, haven't read it, but just googled it and read a summary. It reminds me of a theory that I had read somewhere that there are aliens that live deep in the oceans currently. That book is probably where this theory came from.

You're probably right. Darn, I was hoping to find out about another planet with life and civilization, hoping they brought pictures/footage with them (that is if they're friendly).
They didn't drown. If they have the technology to travel at warp speed to get here, they know what to do to not drown if they land in an ocean. They've studied earth for some time.
