"Karma has no hold:" Incorruptables. Thoughts?

I didn't read the whole thread, but I don't believe in karma. Never have. I try to be a very good person. I think on the whole I cause myself problems over it. Baring those events where it's all my fault, I think I get the random chance "crap on" more often than the average person. Rarely do...

ah, thanks. Now you said in another post, necromancy is a very private thing, and you are, while a very private person, are a rather public necromancer, so how would one find out more about it?

don't get me wrong becky, I've still got te LDS website you suggested up. Trying to keep an open mind about everything, even things I've decided previously I wasn't interested.

Thanks for the info Robtex, I'll do that. Ok, Bruce, Baha,i is one of the religions I mentioned in my opening post that I've never heard of before joining this forum. I'd like to know more about it, if you don't mind. Thanks. For those of you new to this thread, that statement applies to you...

    Searching for a Religion

gnomon, to answer your question, I was raised catholic, so religeous ritual is pretty ingrained into my mind and personality. It's not that I think belonging to a religion will change me, it's that I think changing me(and trust me, I do need to change myself) will be easier if I have a religion...

    Searching for a Religion

thanks midnight. Tell me about your beliefs too if you don't mind. I'm not limiting my question to wicca. I want to make sure I don't skip over something I don't know much about. As to belief-o-matic, I've got it saved in my favorites to come back to. For some reason I can't get it to get past...

    Searching for a Religion

Exactly. That's one of the things I love about this place, I haven't seen anyone directly targeting anyone else or even much disrespect. As to the happiness, that's why I'm here. I'm not happy, so I'm trying to find something that will make me happy. My own will isn't strong enough alone.

Oh, and Tigress, the belief-o-matic is broken I think, the "next" button on page 2 won't work, so I'm still trying to finish it. And a little late, but yes Kai. I see that it's important to have ritual, I'm just not so sure at this point I need a diety.

    Searching for a Religion

Oh, yeah, I actually meant to mention you, Danisty. That's what actually started this. I read a tread about Luciferian that you had several posts in. I have a respect for the things you said, and it sounds like it's kinda what I need, but it wouldn't work for me, because it seems like your faith...

Ok, then I'm not going to be responding to any more posts for as long as Tigress' Belief-O-matic takes. Be back in a few minutes.

    Searching for a Religion

Because things that I percieve as random chance continue to happen to me, and I believe in chaos theory(as well as I know it). Things can be made to change by minor changes in the world. I believe God created the laws of physics to work in such a way so He could manipulate the world in no small...

    Searching for a Religion

Ah, a better way to put it Robtex, thank you, exactly what I'm looking for is a religion without a diety.

    Searching for a Religion

Hmm, I don't remember what it was I saw the other day, but I didn't equate LDS with Latter-day Saints. I already know that even if there are things about the mormon faith I would find very inspiring, there are deffinately things about the teachings I have some big problems with. I think what...

And on that note, I forgot about LDS, but I did hear some interesting ideas about their beliefs of creation the other day. Thanks.

    Searching for a Religion

I've made a few threads about the oddities I find in christianity. For example, either it's actually a duothiestic religion and Satan is just as powerful as God, or God's a liar and he's not really all benevolent, because he has absolutely no problem with Satan causing the problems he does...

    religion, changing/bending rules

Oh, I googled it, and while I wasn't about to go in, it's godhatesfags.com. What an idiot, back to topic please. And this info is to darkpenguin. I'd suggest deleting this and the last posts including this topic so this thread isn't torn off subject.

    Searching for a Religion

To a Moderator First I'd like to say, I think this might not be a good location for this thread, but I couldn't figure out where to put it, so please move it to where it needs to be if necessary. To everyone else Ok, I need help. My life sucks, and since my step-father(cool guy, but...

Why a Satan if God is all powerful?

Here's another idea that still supports Monothiesm, and keeps my idea that Satan doesn't exist. What if you think of Good the same way as heat? There is no such thing as cold, there is only a lack of heat. Maybe evil works the same way, and it's simply a lack of closeness to God's goodness, thus...

Why a Satan if God is all powerful?

Yes, exactly, but that is only as far as we can understand science. I'm simply assuming that this doesn't apply to a being that is all knowing. If it did, then God would be half-knowing :) , not all knowing.

Why a Satan if God is all powerful?

It's a scientific law that if the position and velocity of every molecule in the universe are known at any one time, one can then extrapolate the future positions and velocities of those particles. So, in other words, yes, provided God is all knowing, then yes, he does know the future also.
