    spiritual masters and drugg

The law of conservation of energy is a law of physics. It states that energy can neither be created nor be destroyed: it can only be transformed from one state to another. What it means is that, with the constant amount of energy in the body, energy spent on one activity leaves less energy...

    The miracle of the Quran

Did you have to mention some words from one of the Hindu books (out of Hundreds...some may be pointing to more accurate facts...but you chose to ignore them) to convince non-Muslims about Islam? Could you not have done it based only on your books?

    Was Indian independence a mistake?

It would be interesting to know why the Muslims, at least in Pakistan, did not look for the descendant of the earlier Muslim ruler as possible new Bahdshah, an emperor, and instead handed it over to Jinnah, an almost fake Muslim (i.e. non-practicing) ,western person.

    Was Indian independence a mistake?

"They were always ruled by other nations" is what is taught in Pakistani schools to kids in order to justify why they are in the land that belonged to others. ( including the places of Hindu glory such Harappa and Mohenjodaro...the very land of Sindh...Indus...after which the culture was named...

    Pronunciation?

No it has been the right pronunciation since his time. The problem is when you write in English. Ram would rhime with ham Rama misleads to Rah-Mah Rahm or Raam would be the better option while writing. And the ending 'M' is full not half like visarga. Also the 'man' at the end of Hanuman should...

    The virtues of caste system

Hey but it explains the only blemish on Hinduism. Native Hindus couldn't have done this (discrimination). It came from Europe :D (This is a joke).

    The virtues of caste system

If anyone is interested at all, here it is (castes are sub groups within 4 varnas) 1. Persons are still identified with castes. This is done to enumerate different castes so that the backward one can enjoy the benefits of govt. special measures to uplift them. 2. Castes have completely...

    The virtues of caste system

That's great achievement! Hope you enjoyed yesterday on women's day! The fact that people here compare the USA of 2011 AD with Central Asia of 5000 or 10000 BC it self makes me proud of my culture. I don't care which side wins :D

    The virtues of caste system

My curiosity to understand the reasons behind this unique social structure is neither a justification of the manner in which it was practised nor it is an attempt to revive it or glorify it.

    The virtues of caste system

To be honest, I dont have a 'formed' opinion on castes. But I have have a firm opinion on Hinduism that it is the greatest thing happened to me in this life! And that the early thinkers of this faith coudn't have been stupid or dirty minded! I accept I am definitely biased on this! Hence my...

    The virtues of caste system

They are , no doubt. Effors are being made to find out what was the reason behind it and what was the initial structure. The DNA studies are made in secular India where all are equal, without any hidden aim to substanciate castism. They are purely scientific in nature and I suppose such studies...

    The virtues of caste system

If the above theory is considered to be true, then it is safe to assume that the ethnically different peoples did not want to intermix themselves. It is like today's religions or races where (at least in Asia) they still oppose out of race or out of religion marriage. So out of caste marriage...

    The virtues of caste system

You need to understand that Hinduism was a culture and not a religion. Many kingdoms from various parts of Asia involved in it over a period of thousands of years. One particular race wins against another becomes better. Not necessarily the lightness of the color. The dark colored just happened...
