I've never heard of Thomas Aquinas College. Do they specialise in theological studies? Is that what you'll be studying?
EDIT: In looking at their website, that doesn't seem like a very relevant question anymore. :)
I disagree with the Libertarian Party on abortion and environmental issues, but I agree enough with the rest to consider myself a Libertarian.
Only people who haven't really done any studying, I've found.
Stop voting for the lesser of two evils when a good candidate is there.

In the thread started by the reverand Rick, it seems that he is one of a few conservatives. But it also seems that I'm the only Libertarian. Obviously, that was his thread, though, and so maybe the libertarians didn't feel inclined to post there. So, this is my more scientific approach. Am I...
Yeah, that's a good point. But the point I was making, was that the deaths are always so unnatural. They'll just be going on full swing and suddenly nobody will post in them ever again. And it's interesting that often the last post will be a question, and then it seems nobody can be arsed to...
Isn't thread death weird? I think it is. I'm relatively new to forums, so I haven't really gotten used to the fact that one day you could be in a heated debate or a popular discussion, and next day it will just end! Often, it will end with a question, because people assumed it would keep...
Add to that, I don't think most colleges require their teachers to be teacher certified, whereas to be a K-12 educator you have to know content area and education. But, I might be off on that. It's not something I'm that well versed in.
For some reason I'm thinking Simon and Garfunkle, though I can't think of the song... Am I close, or was that the stupidest thing to come out of anybody's mouth in a long time?
Yeah, that's a good point. I was just guarding against a blanket statement that a PhD is the only thing that qualifies to teach at a university level.
I will say it's small and private, but beyond that, I'd actually rather not say. You'll just have to take my word for it, and if that's not...
It is about individual issues. People don't generally apply philosophies generally. They apply them to specific, unique, and individual issues. Yes, the application across these can be similar, but people still think of things as specific, not as general. The right to choose is specific...
I can see what the big deal is with abortion. Some think it's murder, and most except that freedom only extends as far as others are not harmed. The others, though, I don't understand either.
I bought a gun in about fifteen minutes. It's not that much red tape.
