This thread is dedicated to first going over the basics of science and working up to evolution.

I can't exactly explain that in DETAIL - neither could you - however the animal we see is still an armadillo. Not a different species. The design of a body part is an example of genetic information being rearranged. Perhaps deleted, depending on what the result of that would be on the rest of...

Ok. Sheep or goat. My point doesn't change based on the animal.

    Chat about Hebrews/Judaism

Hang on. I realized it says Abel was a keeper of sheep. Within that context can we not see part of the flock he sacrificed was then - a sheep/lamb? This also is derailing a bit from my intent here but I've slept and am not able to get back on track at the moment :)

Nor would I. Thank you for pointing that out. I do the same thing when people call the fruit they are an apple.

Can you give some examples of testing of the evolutionary theory - specifically macro-evolution?

Ok a minor detail. Flock, I think of sheep. It is the normal reference correct? So. Animal.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

I thought we established this wasn't the place for this

You went there. I was answering a question. I get called wrong but never with any basis. Yep. Not here.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

Someone started a new thread to "educate" me on science...and evolution... I'll probably get to it tomorrow. I'm sure I'll share my views and be called ignorant there as well. Pop some popcorn - see ya there.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

What is inaccurate? At the risk of hijacking the post for a likely endless debate.....

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

I probably don't understand you fully. But the theory of evolution "says" nothing about spirituality or deities.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

Come on, let's not assume we know things about people we don't. I'm serious though. I went in ready to accept it if I found it to be true no big deal. I simply did not. I'm not alone or intimidated by ... much of anything really.

Are you interested in belief of a deity? Or something else? Just curious.

Sorry if I participated. Was just responding to others. I hope my initial response was along the lines of your thinking.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

I think humans are capable of learning about whatever they want. Information is at our fingertips now even though false info is as well. It's really small minded/counter intuitive to assume that adults cannot discuss a topic simply because they aren't in that specific profession.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

Actually I was taught and believed evolution til a few years ago. I simply researched it openly - instead of just trying to get the answers right in biology class.

How can you accept evolution and still have a spiritual reality, and/or a God faith

We disagree vehemently. No evidence I see for it whatsoever. In short - the basic processes of reproduction. Meiosis and the complexities of how sperm and egg cells are made. New genetic information is never added in reproduction- only deleted or rearranged. No matter how many dogs you...
