I'm just about to become a Methodist officially, but we dont have any Methodist churches in my city (or country for that matter), but we do have an Anglican church, they said I could take communion and worship with them, so that is good, what are the differences between the churches exactly?
Yes Methodism is a sort of protestant as you can say that Anglican is as well. But Methodism came out of the anglican church and Wesley died seeing himself as an anglican. So what differs the two? Beside the thing of responding to the english crown.
Well, I did not say I was for or against homosexuality, I asked what is going on within THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and THEIR position on the issue. Bcs it's clearly an issue within ALL churches.
