What race are you sexually attracted to most?

I tend to like dark features, so with the exception of some Italians, I like men who are not European, particularly Middle Eastern and South Asian, (why do my fellow white girls not like Indian men? I find many of them attractive, dark eyes and such.) That being said, given where I live, the...

I want to believe in God again.

This has affected me, but in a different way. I am a Unitarian Universalist. We value diversity, tolerance, and spiritual exploration. Theoretically, we should have all kinds of religions in our church, yes? Well, where I am, not so much. We are educated, liberal, white people, usually...

Feeling a pull towards Reform... Can I convert, and how do I know I should, and what should I know?

I was raised in a family without a belief in God but that respected those who believed in God. I went to a UU church where we learned about religion. One year, we visited various religious institutions and I sat in on a Reform Jewish service... I can't explain exactly what I felt, it was about...

    What is faith to you?

Can't something create a law without realizing it? Can something's very existence not sustain its creation through its own processes, regardless of its own awareness? If we came from something that did not intend to create us, our laws as unintentionally decreed by it would not change unless it...

    What is faith to you?

I can believe in a beginning. I can believe in something eternal from which we sprang. But who is to say that thing is "conscious"? Who is to say that thing knowingly created us with intention? Who is to say that thing is personal, omniscient, and, though I am not trying to be disrespectful and...

Non-Muslim. Feeling guilty about saying the Prophet's name.

Thank you! I'm happy to know that I can not say it and be respectful. Your responses were very helpful. :)

    The importance of universal love.

You don't have to hate an enemy. You may disagree with an enemy, and fight or even kill them as such, but only to preserve yourself, others, or a cause. Never should there be emotional gratification or a "burn in Hell, mother****er", mentality involved, imho.

    What is faith to you?

Have to respectfully disagree, I think for most, faith is a part of being human. Many do not need it, however, with societies of varying levels of affluence and science having strong religious backgrounds, in addition to people who are educated, since the 1960s, being as likely or more likely...

    What is faith to you?

I am in a state of, "I don't know if I believe in God". Do you feel it, so you believe? Do you have rational reasons for believing? Do you believe in all the stories in your books, if you have them, and why? Do you ever doubt that God may exist? How often do you think about God?

Non-Muslim. Feeling guilty about saying the Prophet's name.

I would like to, but maybe I will look silly. :o But thank you for the responses.

Non-Muslim. Feeling guilty about saying the Prophet's name.

When Muslims follow up by saying, "peace be upon him". The Prophet is a concept of Islam, and thus, to speak of him and not follow up is to use the Islamic context, and not pay him the respect he is due in that context. I mean, I wouldn't put a Quran on the floor, so not paying respect to him...

    Having issues with Sikh prayers...

I'm trying to find them, so please be patient, it may have been an odd translation. I think it was the evening prayer, Rehraas Sahib.

    How are modern schools organized

How are modern Gnostic schools organized? Are there specific sects, or is it just "Gnosticism"? Is modern Gnosticism Christian, or something else? Is modern Valentinianism a thing?
