Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: A Once-in-a-Generation Technological Marvel

Unfortunately I don't have means to run this program. If I did a goal I would have is to be able to fly through Star Wars Canyon without crashing. AirshowStuff Visits Star Wars Canyon - Photos And Videos Of Low Level Flying!

Why Profiling Makes Sense and Should Be Done

I asked you about this on page 2. How are you going make sure that the profilers are not biased? I don't see how it can be done. I do think some type of profiling could be used by the cops for certain issues like to decide if a person is drunk and they should go to jail or if they should be...

Why Profiling Makes Sense and Should Be Done

So you hire profilers one is a 18 year old white woman and the other is a 36 year old Persian man how do you make sure they don't bring their bias to work?

    China Seeds

I once received a small packet of multi-colored pieces of plastic that looked like beads without the holes for the string. I asked the Post Master about it and was told there is a good probability that there is a review out there somewhere with my name on it, that has nothing to do with small...

The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

Thank you for the information. Have you received any payouts? I have found other surveys that will pay about that much but when I read the reviews many of them let you get close to the payout then they stop sending out surveys.

The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

I'm referring to points like Yougov uses e.g. 55,000 points can get you a $50 gift card. One Opinion survey was good when I first started with them until they changed, now I might do a survey for several minutes and then they stop it saying I did not qualify for some reason or another, Yougov...

The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

Thanks to your recommendation I have been doing Yougov surveys for over a year now, I did not know about the Yougov | What the world thinks, so thanks again. Does Google have guaranteed points? I gave up on One Opinion because of doing even part of a survey and then being denied of the points.

Just Because -- but by gum. she's good

I love Debussy and I love the harp. The volume on your video does not go loud enough on my laptop so I went to youtube and found Héloïse de Jenlis playing Clair de Lune. Anyway thank you very much, was very relaxing.

New Stimulous checks on the way!

Just yesterday I talked to a guy at IRS Get My Payment and he told me that there are many people who have not received their check, he mentioned that many people are unhappy about this because it looks like a second check may be coming and they like myself are still waiting on the first check to...

Many years ago I took my young son for a ride on the back of my motorcycle up a nearby mountain trail where I live, about halfway up the mountain I decided to turn around and go back down. When I found a small clearing in all the brush that grew on both sides of the trail big enough that I...

Anyone know anything about solar panels?

I would get the 28 watt because it has a regulator to prevent you from over charging the battery, which might not be needed for one 10 watt panel but if you start adding panels it is essential. It also has a feature to keep it from overheating your battery.

    The Diabetes epidemic....Type 2

I don't know what my number was at the time but I experienced increased thirst so bad that I wouldn't go anywhere without a water bottle until I found out that I had pre-diabetes. I have since then reduced my sugar intake (a work in progress) allowing me to leave the water bottle at home. ...

My life is about to change a lot this year.

I highly recommend you look at buying or making a "rocket mass heater stove" for cooking and heating. I made a rocket stove out of large tin cans for outdoor use and I was amazed that just a handful full of twigs was enough to boil about a 1/2 gallon of water. 27 DIY Rocket Stove Plans to Cook...

A piece of tape tricks Tesla autopilot to misread speed limit sign

Hackers are another problem for smart cars. Targeting self-driving and smart cars could allow hackers to shut down whole cities I am going to stay with the dumb things in life even if it means I have to steer a car or get up off the couch to turn down the thermostat, it is more troubling to me...

The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

About two weeks ago my doctor burned a nerve by sticking a needle (electrode) in the temple area on the left side of my head, then a radiofrequency current is applied for 60 seconds which is quite painful the doctor even said that it is okay to cuss loudly as most people will do. The good news...

I had the same thing done to me but I almost punched the doctor, luckily I pulled back and just barely touched his face with my fist and I am fairly muscular. I would have felt really bad if I had hit him. Hopefully you get a good surgeon and that your insurance will cover a "cold water therapy...

    Getting through tough times

Geoff, thanks for posting this good information. I liked it when you said (what ever floats your boat in terms of seeking assistance) it shows that you have an open mind and a willing to learn. If we are not capable of learning we are not capable of teaching anything useful.
