    A return!

Hello, I've been a member of this forum for a very long time. It is only now after a 4 year break that I have returned, and with it my religion has changed from Norse Paganism to Sunni Islam. As they say, AMA.

    The Ragnarök

It bothers me how many times our beliefs are seen from a Christian viewpoint, because in reality it is dishonest and yet it is the greatly held belief by so many. Obviously it isn't a big big issue because we aren't trying to get people to follow our belief system, but it would be nice to have...

    Thank you both!

    Trying to settle

I'm pretty happy with where I am, I just strive for more information with everything I get interested in. Mind you I still feel my occasional pulls towards Ibadi Islam or Orthodox Christianity, but that's only really because I want answers and they have easier paths to them.

Why do you say it like that? :p

    Good books?

I was wondering if there is any good literature regarding Celtic paganism, I need more info before I can really consider myself a practicing Pagan, but good info seems to be scarce on the sites I've come across. Many thanks!

    Trying to settle

After a lot of time, I've finally come to rest or at least trying to do so, and I've become a Celtic pagan, but haven't chosen any specific set of Celtic deities nor have I learned enough to consider myself practicing. I find it sort of difficult to find satisfactory material on Celtic forms of...

    Nothing is feeling right...

I have been gone too long apparently :p

    Looking for a faith.

I follow Gods such as Odin, Thor, etc while I also believe that Odin is sort of like "God" in the Christian sense, and that the other gods are similar to Angels. I'm known as a Henotheist. I believe in multiple deities, or acknowledge they could exist, while focusing on one supreme deity.

    I've been gone, still unsure.

Haha, oh, white supremacists? Idk if I'd say that unless they're tattooing swastikas on themselves, but I wouldn't know, xD

I agree simplicity is nice. As you said they're cross fed. So I use a single set of names unless I'm directly worshippin a highly specific deity.

In flux again (a bit long)

I understand the feelings. I know I'm late to the party, but better late than never. I find it hard even for myself. Somehow I always look back to Islam or Sikhism, but I know they really aren't for me in the long run. It bothers me. Hopefully Hinduism is your final pitstop, and if not...

Indeed. I consider myself a Seeker as of yet. I've found areas I feel comfortable in but I don't really know if I've found my home yet.

You always surprise me that's for sure! Ahha, I'm glad you feel at home though.

Oh I know! Haha I love the discussion though. I looked into Zoroastrianism, not really for me in the long run. I think thats what's holding me back from religions like Christianity or Islam, they're major life changes, where as Pagan traditions have always felt home like to me.

European Paganism is simply I follow a mishmash of European Pagan faiths like Asatru, Celtic, Rodnovery, Romuva, etc

A lot of people think they need to find their place right away, I've been off he forum for quite awhile. Actually I nearly forgot about it existing. I have been a European Pagan, for awhile now, but let me tell you all, that doesn't mean I've settled down. I still find myself looking into...

Tengrism - Religion of the Nature

There are lots of websites on it. Truthfully I find that actually sitting down and talking (or messaging) a Tengrist is the most useful approach though. Many websites don't touch on the types of questions I have regarding Tengrism. A simple Google search will bring up lots of info on it though!

Tengrism - Religion of the Nature

Simply do what a Tengrist does? There is no conversion in the faith as far as I'm aware.
