Got allergies? You don't have to keep them anymore

Good luck, Susie! I hope it works out for you. So far my daughter, my husband, myself and a couple of my good friends have all tried this and it's worked for us all like a charm. I will say, the nearest clinic to me is near Hilton Head. I can't really complain about the cost of the trip...

    Baha'i marriage:

What's really out of context is the way we practice adoption here. When the laws for marriage were written, the idea of anonymous adoption was unknown. If your parents couldn't support you for some reason, you were adopted by another relative, but you still knew who your parents were. Even in...

What do you think this is??

That's where your pancreas is. I've gotten some sharp pains there if I overindulge in carbs. So has the daughter. We're both hypoglycemic, but at some points in the monthly cycle things hit the blood sugar worse than others. You could try taking some alpha lipoic acid and see if that helps...

    Baha'i marriage:

Hey, I resemble that remark! :D I married a (lapsed) Catholic and we chose to have a Catholic ceremony as well. We had to meet with the priests for interviews and fulfill the requirements of the RCC to have that ceremony, but in addition as I am Baha'i it's a requirement that I abide by...

    We Are All Bahais

Lawrence, just so you know, unless Drew declared since I've been off here, he is not a Baha'i. (You can look at some older threads yourself to confirm this.) If he were he would be aware of what's in our Writings that talks about whether it's possible to be a Baha'i and something else at the...

Got allergies? You don't have to keep them anymore

Hi y'all! Some of you may remember me from when I was a regular on here (wow, I'm still on the top 5 posters list?) and if so might remember that my daughter and I both had pretty severe food allergies (dairy and corn). Well, I found some exciting news and wanted to get back on here and let...

Not bad! In fact I got on to let a few users with food allergies know that there's an actual cure available. Wow it's been a real life changer for me and the daughter! Good to see you knocking around here still. I don't expect to be on here much, but you never know. You're a Man U fan...

    We Are All Bahais

Hi Luis. I haven't been here in forever, but dropped by to post something else and noticed this. I was an atheist for years before I became a Baha'i, so I understand what you mean. A friend of mine was a Baha'i for two years before she finally decided oh what the heck, if I believe what...

So long and thanks for all the fish

It's been a fun couple of years, guys, but it's become obvious to me lately that it's time I readjusted my priorities, so other than checking in for a PM now and again, I don't expect to be on again. To my old friends who are still here and I don't see elsewhere, hopefully our paths will cross...

    Voter ID laws

It depends on how they are implemented. In principle, no I don't believe they disenfranchise voters. You have to show some form of ID to register in the first place. Um, in theory what is the issue with showing some ID when you show up to vote? Basically, at best this is hyperbole.

    Mormon diversion!

Sola scriptura is hardly "historical" unless by "historical" you mean "completely recent." Clearly this is some new definition of "historical" with which I was previously unfamiliar.
