God's actions are the best possible thing by necessity and the fact we have no criteria that supersedes him to condemn them by.
You have to be joking! If humans behaved in the way the deity is reputed to have acted they would have been utterly condemned and rightly so.
Surely any reasonable deity who wants humanity to interact with it would makes its existence clear to all in a way which brooks no argument? However if the deity does exist and expects people to believe in it without any evidence whatsoever to prove its existence, it is playing stupid games, and...
I don't believe in angels as entities anymore than I believe in the deity portrayed in the Bible! Mind you, in the unlikely event the myths were true, it is a pity the angels didn't kill the evil deity whilst they were about it!
I think as science continues to add to our knowledge of how things actually work, I reckon that eventually ALL the things that some believe to be paranormal will be found to have a perfectly logical explanation.
There is NO reality about heaven or hell as there is no evidence to support the existence of an afterlife. Jesus might have believed in it, but he knew no more about the topic than any other human before or since.
A load of silly nonsense in my opinion. That sort of garbage blighted my childhood and it can be VERY abusive if a child is threatened with the 'you must be 'saved' or else' nasty dogma'!
I have come to the conclusion that logic and reason don't seem to be uppermost where belief in a religion is concerned. If they were maybe there would be many fewer believers!
