I guess my problem is all the anti's will now be posting and criticizing his talk line by line. This happened last conference too. I guess I can't deny that it must benefit those who have a misunderstanding of the Church and are not anti that would benefit.
Well, I'm not here to debate whether the rebate works or not - in fact, I agree with you - I don't think it will.
As for what's unfair or not - that's a matter of perspective.
Elder Ballard is currently speaking about motherhood. I'll save my analysis until I can read the transcript, but my initial impression is that his talk crushes Beck the Wreck's talk from last conference.

I'm not sure I'm enjoying Hollands talk right now: Just seems like fodder for the anti's and evangelicals. Debating whether the canon is closed or not is like debating abortion.

Your personal experiences are just that - personal experiences. My personal experience is that I've NEVER heard people complain or harass others at church because a wife was not working outside the home.

No - you did not just give your opinion of Beck's talk - you called others corrupt. A person not attending church with his wife is in no position to be judging other members of the church.
As I've watched General Conference this weekend, I realized I have a new "favorite" apostle. Of course, I think they're all great, but in terms of speaking, I have a new favorite.
