Well, I'll check the other forum I sometimes visit and see if they've jumped on it yet. I hope you're right.

Sir, they would be Year 4 in the English school system.

Third-graders attempt to murder their teacher

Third grade = 8 and 9 year olds.

    Your favorite current apostle

I guess my problem is all the anti's will now be posting and criticizing his talk line by line. This happened last conference too. I guess I can't deny that it must benefit those who have a misunderstanding of the Church and are not anti that would benefit.

If you make over 75,000 a year, are you rich?

Well, I'm not here to debate whether the rebate works or not - in fact, I agree with you - I don't think it will. As for what's unfair or not - that's a matter of perspective.

    Nutshell vs Reverend Rick

Rick, it is obvious by you PMs that I am not posting as frequently as you would like. I recommend the debate be closed.

    Elder Ballard's Talk on Mothers

Elder Ballard is currently speaking about motherhood. I'll save my analysis until I can read the transcript, but my initial impression is that his talk crushes Beck the Wreck's talk from last conference. More to come.

I'm not sure I'm enjoying Hollands talk right now: Just seems like fodder for the anti's and evangelicals. Debating whether the canon is closed or not is like debating abortion.

I Petition Those Who Oppose Beck's Reduction Of The Sacred Role Of Womanhood To Cooking And Cleaning Abstain From Posting In This Thread. We've Had Enough Discussion. We Know Where Each Other Stands. This Thread Expressly Declares Us As Corrupt And I, For One, Will No Longer Interact With...

    Sister Beck's Talk

That has nothing to do with my previous post. Your personal experiences are just that - personal experiences. My personal experience is that I've NEVER heard people complain or harass others at church because a wife was not working outside the home. Now address my post or go away like you...

    Sister Beck's Talk

No - you did not just give your opinion of Beck's talk - you called others corrupt. A person not attending church with his wife is in no position to be judging other members of the church.

    Your favorite current apostle

As I've watched General Conference this weekend, I realized I have a new "favorite" apostle. Of course, I think they're all great, but in terms of speaking, I have a new favorite. It's President Uctdorf. His talks have been wonderful - I especially liked the priesthood session last night...

So you and your wife must make well over $150K. Oh - boo hoo. From the IRS: "Eligibility for the stimulus payment is subject to maximum income limits. The payment, including the basic amount and the amount for qualifying children, will be reduced by 5 percent of the amount of income in...
