    Does Islam Need a Reformation?

Hi All, Before I respond to other learned friends within this forum I would just like to apologise for the delayed response from me, I have been in lectures/meetings etc, so only find time to respond when travelling. But yes.. The above question quoted by a member of this forum cannot be...

    Does Islam Need a Reformation?

As an academic I think it's axiomatically wrong for someone to believe truly that they are in a position to prove the need to change ideology. Almost as if one of my students drops out of class and then decides to write a book about how my class needs reforming and henceforth becomes an expert...

    Whats your perspective on atheism?

When i think of an atheist, i get the feeling that their belief system is based on refuting others, and their viewpoint that 'hard scientific facts' are by far the more realistic and obvious option to believe in instead of 'faith'. However they do make better conversation than most God...

    Errors in the Quran

As you said, the quran says "on THAT day" referring to a day in a time frame which is unknown. You cannot dispute this with any real evidence to suggest otherwise, because that would mean showing me where God has told us that a day that he refers to is the same day that we experience. I...

    Errors in the Quran

Hi everyone, Thought i'd shed some light on a few things here regarding the story of Gog and Magog: 1. Dhul Qarnayn was not a prophet, he was a king. There has never been a direct mention of him being a prophet nor did God mention him by this title. 2. I completely agree with your viewpoint...

    Attack at the 2012 Olympics?

    Conspiracy theory? That's funny.

Why do people believe Tupac Shakur is still alive?

I agree. Tbh I think if he is alive, he has left it too late to return anyway.

    Attack at the 2012 Olympics?

I have not personally decided it is the illumanti or freemasons etc. I am just reading and passing on information that has been passed to me, but I think this is not the place for this to be achieved.

    Attack at the 2012 Olympics?

And say what exactly? That a secret society has planned an attack for these Olympics? What are the authorities going to do about it? Believe me after reading about what has been planned, I would happily report it to the authorities, but they cannot do anything about it.

    Attack at the 2012 Olympics?

Ok, I have recently been given a vast amount of information regarding a possible attack on the Olympics. I have never thought such a plan could be devised, even by secret societies. I have never taken interest in secret societies purely because I have never had enough information about them...

    War on Terror?

Is there a 'war on terror'? I can't seem to understand who the real enemy is, in this war on terror. Yet we are bombarded with this term constantly all the time. Divide and conquer - they seem to be doing that pretty well. Unfortunately.

Why do people believe Tupac Shakur is still alive?

I've heard so many different statements made by people claiming to be able to prove that Pac is still alive? Do these theories come about because his fans just can't let him go, or because Pac deliberately made his persona seem obsessed with death and subliminal messages to keep people...

    You are one complete idiot.

Are Muslims better Christians than Christians themselves?

Look, I picked out a few verses from the Bible and said that Muslims follow these, and yet most Christians don't. Is that not clear to you? Do you not understand what I'm saying? This thread was not to understand Christianity as a whole, all I said, was: Muslims follow these verses , yet...

    Who was the devil?

Pegg, I understand your point and respect it. I do believe what your saying is true, but do the Christians of today follow the message of the original Bible, and follow Jesus (pbuh) teachings and way of life? Or do they follow what is in the Bible we see today? And I do understand that you...

Are Muslims better Christians than Christians themselves?

It seems like many of you missed the point of this thread, I wanted to show that even though we say we are Muslims or Christians or Jews, we practice the same things. We have a lot of similarities within our 'religions'. I also said, Muslims follow the teachings of Christianity, more than some...

Blind faith equally deplorable both in science and religion

To a religious God fearing person, we do have enough information, his Holy Scriptures. To a believer in God, that is enough information, as part of the test of being a believer, is believing in the unseen. Otherwise if we could see God and His miracles, there is no test in our faith.

Are Muslims better Christians than Christians themselves?

I think when people drink, sometimes they do become drunk, not all the time, but sometimes. Why if it is mentioned in the Bible, do only certain 'Christians' follow it?
