How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

Of course it is. The fact that we evolve says nothing about how we originated. It is only a hypothesis that we all originate from LUCA.

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

I never said that we don't evolve over time.

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

Not really .. for the process to exist, it needs the 'conditions' .. which means to me, that the process itself was not caused by itself. ..so 'evolution' as an explanation for the existence of mankind is somewhat lacking.

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

..and that's it.. The explanation only tells us that it happens under certain conditions .. it doesn't tell us why or how those conditions came to be.

systems? How did THEY evolve? Where did they come from?

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

You can't speak for all atheists .. many behave in an inappropiate manner. i.e with ridicule

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

Extremism occurs in all walks of life. :expressionless:

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

I think most of us know that dna is involved .. but how/why did the mechanism itself evolve?
  9. muhammad_isa

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

Not exactly .. unless you can show us?
  10. muhammad_isa

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

Nobody is saying that .. we know that things don't usually happen without a reason . Evolution is not a reason for things to exist .. it's a process.

Human-caused climate change - what the scientists are actually saying

Perhaps 'we' are being a bit paranoid, don't you think? Can you show us how politicians are doing this? Politicians have to answer to their voters, and furthermore, I would say that volatile energy prices are more of a problem than tax policy.

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

Mmm .. I think that applies to all of us, one way or another.

..are you saying he might of gone to Las Vegas on the quiet? ;)

How Much Do You Doubt God's Existence?

It is for me, but apparently some people prefer "don't know" :) ..and funnily enough, these people claim to know most things.

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

Perhaps we have different beliefs.. ;)

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

You are deflecting from the issue discussed i.e. the hell that we might find ourselves in
  17. muhammad_isa

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

There is actually .. the scientific method can be applied to many different disciplines. However, one needs a foundation before they can embark on such a course of study, and make reasonable conclusions. i.e. the intention behind the study is of utmost importance
  18. muhammad_isa

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

That would depend on the reason for not believing .. it might be.
  19. muhammad_isa

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

You mean, it's not a common understanding, maybe? Nevertheless, the life hereafter is just that .. a continuation of life. Therefore, stick to 'the sanity of this life', in determining what is sane for the next. i.e. would a person deemed highly dangerous be released into society, or not...
  20. muhammad_isa

Do those who prefer falsehood over truth deserve hell forever?

Can you expand on that? Do you consider a life hereafter to be a 'magic fairyland' or something? ..just consider it to be a continuation of this life, for sake of argument..
