what did the apostle paul mean by this?

You don't. That's not what Paul was saying. The Apostle was telling the people how so many were giving up on their marriages, when that was exactly what they were not supposed to do. Read the whole chapter, but read the KJV; it's the most correct in the spiritual sense.

what did the apostle paul mean by this?

Then you're one up on the rest of the unbelievers. Good for you ;)

what did the apostle paul mean by this?

You guessed wrong. Paul was talking about the quitters; the adulterers; the Bill Clintons of New Testament times: 29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none... Paul is admonishing the people to wise up and fly...

Does God love women less than men?/Does God love men more than women?

Because he gave women superior manipulative powers. It all shakes out in the end.

Was Paul a closeted, self-loathing gay man hiding in an anti-gay society?

I have no rage, Hammer; only pity for those who view the Bible with such vitriolic rage. Come back when you've curbed the anger.

Then welcome to overpopulation, princess ;)

What's the matter with birth control?

But where do I say multiply & replenish the earth with reckless abandon? I don't. The word RESPONSIBLY is implied in this message.
  8. S

What's the matter with birth control?

I do mind. That's why I keep asking you depopulation disciples to take your message to the third world. Why won't you do this?
  9. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Then why isn't it, Father? Why are you harrassing the parts of the world that are already caught in the depopulation frenzy?
  10. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Wrong. It's history repeating itself. There were murderers and rapists 6,000 years ago, and there are murderers and rapists in 2012.

What's the matter with birth control?

You haven't any logic. You're trying to put words in my mouth...again. Where in my words have I ever promoted irresponsible breeding?
  12. S

What's the matter with birth control?

No I'm not, as I have faults of my own. I'm not thrusting anyone to hell, am I?
  13. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Given that there are still murderers, thieves, adulterers, and rapists, to list a few, I'd say yup.
  14. S

What's the matter with birth control?

But where? Where do you intend to take that message? To the first world, where some countries are already dangerously close to dipping below critical mass? Don't you think your message would be better used in the third world?
  15. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Nope. have you ever considered that they were also written for today, as history tends to repeat itself?
  16. S

What's the matter with birth control?

No, being a pro-abortion, and a pro-depopulation disciple is carnally minded. My view is a slap in the face to all carnally minded.
  17. S

What's the matter with birth control?

It means where do you propose to tell people to "turn off the spigot".
  18. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Actually, it's people who don't believe in God in the first place, who make him look like an oaf.
  19. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Most people in the world would think this way. But I don't fault you for being carnally minded. It's not entirely your fault.
  20. S

What's the matter with birth control?

Perhaps. Where do you propose to take your message?
