Legislation in Australia is Dependant on Religious Morality.

it goes both ways, the point is they had free will to change their mind. and he provided redemption when they sinned.

Legislation in Australia is Dependant on Religious Morality.

God gave us free will. and since adam and eve sinned, god came up with an alternative play (which was probably his original play because he's omniscient). either way he gave them the opportunity not to sin and they did, so he sent jesus christ so we could be redeemed.

Legislation in Australia is Dependant on Religious Morality.

God's original plan was for nothing ever to die, but Adam and Eve screwed that up by sinning. Bad things happen as a result of sin in the world, it's not gods plan, it's the devil.

wow, no need to get defensive. I was genuinely just curious, I wanted some insight. I wanted to know what your conscience is based on? what you see acceptable/unacceptable on moral grounds? this^

Legislation in Australia is Dependant on Religious Morality.

the point is abortion is the murder of an innocent being, who doesn't have a choice or say in the matter.

also i wanted to add how against abortion i am, i think it's sad people even consider it an option. "I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born." - Ronald Reagan

Legislation in Australia is Dependant on Religious Morality.

really, i actually hadn't heard that. as far as i was concerned we were a multi-religious society based on a predominantly christian constitution. i know as far as my opinion goes that religion (especially religious morals [more specifically christian morals]) belongs hand in hand with politics...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

yes it could more accurately be reworded as they become attracted to the same sex, either way they are deceived. the Devil sends things to tempt us, lead us astray and distract us from what's important, the Screwtape letter's by c.s lewis illustrate this perfectly, i highly recommend them...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

Romans 1:26-27 (New Living Translation) 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

i think you've completely missed the point of my MO, which was to illuminate the fact that homosexuality is NOT a gift from god and I backed this up with evidence from the bible. And at no point did i state that i support slavery. But obviously you don't like to hear what the bible has to say...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

This is a little off topic we were talking about homosexuality not slavery. And yes i do hate homosexuality (the act), but I respect and love the people themselves, however misguided they may be. anyway lets look at these verses one by one: Titus 2:9 Teach slaves to be subject to their...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

well as i said before homosexuality is a sin from a christian point of view, so in short, a person might become confused (deceived by the devil) and think that they are attracted to the same sex, and a lot of the time homosexuals aren't accepted in churches (i don't condone this, i'm just saying...

"Being Gay is a Gift from God"

What a load of codswallop! The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual...
