I sort of had an insight when thinking about what god(s) would be..
Right now, I can't conceive of what a god would be. Certainly nothing like Hermes, or Ares, or any of those mythological gods..
Hinduism seems to be pointing somewhere towards the truth imo. but to me a god would...
Well, we dont need morality to live, but the fact that we naturally have guilt and a "conscience" leads me to believe acting in certain ways has long-term evolutionary benefits..
So, go on from there..
I believe that when we pass away we either transisition to a new world or our spirit returns to the universal collective.
Either way, i believe part of us lives on in this world because even after death, we contribute as bio mass.
My understanding is that "native american" religion is not the only one with shamanism...
I bring no offense, but I'm trying to correct you on this.
Saying Native American religion is like saying Asian religion or African religion..There is no single religion or system...
I'm not from Germany or anything, but I did take German this year.
I'd like to say I came here searching for interesting religous/spiritual arguement/discussion from a VARIETY of people of faith.
I am a pantheist, and I have alot of shared beliefs with Hinduism and Buddhism...
