Religion, I would guess, has had less effect on humanity than the people who use religion to do good or evil. If a man kills another man, is it his religion, or him that is committing the crime? Is it his religion that has made him do it, or a chemical imbalance of some sort?

Well acceleration can not be infinite if nothing can travel faster than light. 186,282 miles per second. And light travels just as fast in or out of vacuum.
I expect no true evidence. The argument that a watch has a watchmaker is not a good one in terms of proof. However, I've never asked anyone if they "know" God exists. Well, before this thread that is.
You sound a bit reaching at this point, djewleu. I'm not much of a church guy, so i don't really tithe much. There wouldn't be much point in me going since I do not believe in God. However, tithing is one of the better ideas Christianity has had.
I believe the existence of God is incapable of proof. Because of this belief, I do not believe in a god of any sort. Agnostic-atheist. The two can go together quite well.
The fence is such a comfortable place to be. Which is why it is so hard to jump. Science, I don't believe, is necessarily going after a "Godless explanation". Although the more we understand about natural processes the less we need the phrase, "God did it.". I suggest sitting on this...
You're just getting mad djewleu. Think about it. The Bible is not responsible for the deaths of millions. People are responsible. Extremists will be found in every society.
I do not generally take a defensive stance on the side of ancient holy books. However, I'm fairly sure that this is probably not an accurate historical account. There is some hidden message maybe? Disobedience is bad? Maybe?
What exactly are you trying to argue? That Moses disobeyed? I'm a little slow sometimes, so if you could be a little more direct with your proposal it would help me understand. Thanks!
