Hi Norman, thank you so VERY much and God bless you. I want you to know that I don't have any feelings of ill-will towards members of your denomination. I grew up and were close friends with many of the same faith as you and they have always treated me kindly.. and with respect and true love...
Good point. Since I myself am gay, I can definitely respect that statement. I have many Jewish friends, and respect all people who have deep religious or spiritual faith... as long as they don't try to harm or persecute others with it.
The ones I defined were the ones who wanted Jesus dead, and who were moral hypocrites.... not 'all' Jews. I know plenty of loving and wonderful people of the Jewish faith.
Hi CMike, it should be noted that you are commenting on a thread for fellow Christians only in the 'same-faith' debates, so if you are of the Jewish faith, you really shouldn't be debating on this thread.
That said, just to be clear, when I refer to the Pharisees in this thread, it is not a...
The false translations you follow on this subject were originally put into effect by the same Church Fathers who, through their puppet emperors they had raised and indoctrinated since infancy, and whose word was law, declared the death penalty for all who disagreed with them.
Besides murdering...
Nope. Ancient Jewish commentaries on Sodom (in the Mishnah) all agree that Sodom and the other cities were destroyed because of their cruelty to strangers and their failure to help the poor. None of them suggests anything in regard to homosexual activity. There is no record throughout 'all' of...
No, that's not true. The only homosexual acts condemned are within pagan, prostitution, or abusive settings... the joining of two homosexuals in monogamous union and love is something to be blessed and thankful for.
The Apostle Paul did not write general prohibitions against homosexual...
Not true..
Ezekiel 16:49 says quite clearly - Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
One of the more common arguments against homosexuality used to be the destruction of Sodom and...
The Bible only condemns homosexuality when it occurs within a pagan, coercive, exploitative, or wanton situation. It does not condemn two people of the same gender joining together in monogamous union and love.
A gay person usually will realize at a very early age, many times as early as 4...
Anyone who obsesses about homosexuals every second of the day and how they interact with each other, is obviously sick... or else just hasn't come out of the closest yet.
Sven... I suggest you seek psychiatric help. It's obvious that you obsess about homosexuals and the anus every second of the day. Please... stop projecting upon others.
This is for sven:
Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth said (to Naomi), "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. "Where you die, I will die, and there I will be...
God is most definitely 'not' against this beautiful love.
Ruth 1:16-17
But Ruth said (to Naomi), "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. "Where you die...
The word "arsenokoitai" in 1 Corinthians and 1 Timothy:
"Arsenokoitai" is a Greek word that appears to have been uniquely created by Paul when he was writing 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. No record remains of any writer having using the term before Paul. It has been translated as "abusers of...
Strangely enough, you don't see the teachings on adultery from the exact same verse such as you use to condemn gay people with..leading to people being beaten, imprisoned, or murdered over, and yet we can see that happening all around the world over the 'teachings' they spread about...
