Ok, now that I trolled ur attention...Is the bible true but the names, places and events have been changed to protect the guilty/innocent.
What I mean is that once all the veneer and the strange twisted arguments and reasoning are stripped away is there a universal coherent message in the bible?
More Russians are sure of the U.S. meddling in their politics than the other way around, poll finds
Well who would of thunk? It must be true. They took a poll.
I put this in the Religious Debate section because I often hear that God is bad because He allows suffering. Alright, pony up. What's wrong with suffering.
I've decided to follow Tofu Roshi.
"Dear Tofu Roshi,
I can't get my dog to sit on his meditation cushion. Could I just tie the zafu cushion to the dog for fourty minutes?
Doggoned
Dear Doggoned,
When your dog won't sit, which are you tying, the dog or the zafu? Practicing with this question...
This relationship came up in another thread. I'm ignorant of this concern. No one cared to explain much with clarity. Maybe I can get some this way.
What is the relationship between the theology of Paul and this little known mystery religion?
In my early days of being a narrow-minded Biblist I surmised that the paths were predetermined but man had a choice. After years of Don Quixote like attempts at trying to splain otherwise, I have come to see that some people just ain't gunna understand faith. It's like they're unequiped to...

Why did He create heaven I wonder. Was He homeless. Why wasn't where He was at good enough? This is assuming that Heaven is God's command center and senior living residence for the saints. Wasn't where He was before He created heaven and earth good...
In the beginning the universe was formed by expansion. Simultaneously space began when the movement began. Would not movement have started cause and effect?
What is the purpose of "doing" the Law. Is it as Paul said in Romans that the "doers of the law shall be justified." Or is it an ongoing process of staying out of trouble? Perhaps a way or reconciling to God after sin? Something else? Is there an end purpose?
Your thoughts and insight please.
