What is your philosophical understanding of the bold line below? Why does a body result in misfortune from a Taoist perspective?

Hello Dharmic brothers and sisters
The three Dharmic religions I am familiar with: Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism, tend to teach that there is salvation through certain actions, rituals/mediation or realisations. Speaking in general.
What do you think about the idea of practising one or more...
Soteriology is the idea that we need or can be saved from something. A salvation of some kind. I am interested to know about religions which say there is nothing to be saved from.
Can you think of any religions which do not require being saved etc?
My guess is paganism could be adapted to...
So what hobbies would be good for people who like to exercise their intellect? Add to the list?
Chess
Religion - Theology - Philosophy
Models - boats, cars, planes etc.
Role play games e.g. Dungeons and Dragons
Electronics
Programming languages e.g. Java.
Any more?

I am just curious as to what a "service" consists of in the temples that you attend or have visited. If you could give me a basic run down of what goes on, I would be interested to read it.
Thanks

Should we consider our dreams to have meaning on what we should do or not do in life?
Or do dreams have no significance from the Sikh or Hindu perspectives?
Why do people (theistic hindus) go to the Mandir (temple) in your opinion?
Why do you personally go (if you do)?
If you had no financial or geographical limitations would you go and why (or why not)?
Have you (or someone you know) ever had to face a new language in your religion of choice, such as having to learn a whole new language in order to participate?
I am curious of your experiences.
For example, did you have to stop with that religion or did you become more committed to it...
What is your opinion, from personal experience and/or research of Christian Science organisation/movement specifically, rather than their theology?

To anyone who knows about paganism,
Is there any concepts similar to Spiritual Enlightenment or Self-realisation in Paganism (commonly found in Dharmic religions)?
I am not looking to make a comparison as such but to understand the concept if at all from pagan perspectives?
Do you feel...
How can someone become more decisive and continue to live with minimal regret? Can this be learnt, if so how?
Do you think being indecisive leads to more regret (or they go hand in hand)?
There are kittens living near my home, I saw the adult cat carrying a bone in her mouth to them. Should we feed them to help them or does that lead to issues and further problems?
I am considering going to India and seeing more of the country from a religious perspective, such as temples, puja etc (which is why I put the question in the DIR).
I would have to go alone and probably in the coming months. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions please?

Take any scenario, for example you see an injustice (anything, like an animal cruelly beaten), and you become angry and think angry thoughts.
You then realise your mind is angry and you stop being angry and instead become more neutral or peaceful.
What influenced this change in behaviour...
So assume you have read all the scriptures, knelt in front of the alter until you had pins and needles, and done all you possibly could.
Now through God's grace you no find you no longer need to think or act for your religion in any way whatsoever for the rest of your life.
So how is...
Isn't it curious how songs can make us feel different in different ways. Is it the same for you?
I have one song which makes me feel so nostalgic that I have had to stop myself to listening to it. Even the modern remix! :o I have no idea why :)
I would like to offer a topic for your consideration and feeback. :)
