    Honest opinions from Christians please

I'm not whining -I don't care one way or another. I'm just stating what you're doing. You see, you've yet to explain how I'm ignorant.

    Honest opinions from Christians please

It does indirectly. In order for there to be life on earth, we have to have earth. Earth has to have a star. Therefore, it matters how the star got there. EDIT: macroevolution is dependent on stellar evolution. Of course not. Why would he? When talking about any particular field, you'll say...

    Honest opinions from Christians please

As I said, I'd like to say I won. Of course there was no debate. Just some attacks by you on me.

    Honest opinions from Christians please

I wish I could say I won, except you didn't even dare. Very interesting strategy.

Oh I'll agree that they're not scientific. But they are used by scientists, and they're all dependent on each other It's fast becoming apparent that ignorance isn't my special attribute, guys. Great God... I didn't say it was. If you go back to my original post, I addressed all three OP...

Any research I do will not be on a blog. What exactly did you find ignorant? Are you ever going to tell me, or was I right in my assumption that you can't, and that's why the hominem arguments started.

    Honest opinions from Christians please

The OP wasn't limited to biology.

Tell me, if you had uses the term moron, idiot, etc. would that have made that post abusive? Or we're you even referring to me? I hate to jump to conclusions on the internet. Okay, we all know that when evolution is generally referred to, it's usually specifically the evolution of life on...

    Unraveling the Jesus Myth

They're variations, yes. Not necessarily exagerrations. Most legends are oral, and are later modified are debunked by written accounts -though not always. We have a contemporary book chronicling the life and works of Christ. Not conclusive, but it puts Jesus above Santa Clause.

Yes, I'm aware that evolution generally refers to the evolution of life, and is therefore in the field of biology -ie Macroevolution. However, when we contrast in to creationism, we begin talking about Cosmic, stellar, etc. evolution. For example, macroevolution that you're talking about could...

    Honest opinions from Christians please

Please show me why I'm ignorant. I didn't see any evidence offered that those things suggested in the OP were at all conclusive. That was toungue and cheek. I was simply pointing out that evolution is false. You seem mighty adamant that I'm ignorant, a liar, etc., and I just got here. I'm...

    Honest opinions from Christians please

You see what I mean? That's all I hear... Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said evolution was true, and I never mentioned value.

Being "right" is NOT a reason for God to favour people.

No, and neither did God. He laid down the law. All other religions are from the imagianations. Because I wasn't "right" because I didn't "choose" religions. I got saved, and got religion afterwards. Yeah, I know. :D That's why I bowed out of our previous one. I always end up...

    Honest opinions from Christians please

:sad4: I hate these discussions because all I here is how uninfomed I am, and nothing else. Evolution covers many areas. How life originated, how the cosmos originated, how stars originated, etc. This I knew. I hadn't meant to lump them together. Atheists were the "scoffers", and...

    Honest opinions from Christians please

My two cents: When the Bible calls it "oppositions of science, falsely so-called" it isn't talking about science: it's talking about evolution and atheists. The OP states that those three points have been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I saw no such proof.

Being "right" is NOT a reason for God to favour people.

I'm saying that God didn't put them all there. Because the beliefs of Hinduism, Islam, etc. have nothing to do with God. They may be attempts to find God, they may be devils leading people astray, but God revealed Himself to us (creation), and it's up to us to accept it. I see where you're...

    Whore of Babylon

Well, that put them into a position of power, but that's not why. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. The seat of the Roman Catholic church being Rome, it sits on seven hills. That's not the only reason. This is new to...

    Former Republican Speaks Out

I was waiting for you to tell us. I could label it, but people are touchy about being labeled. Some liberals prefer the term progressive.

    Former Republican Speaks Out

When Regan took the helm, we had 7.5% unemployment, and we were in the middle of a recession. There was an economic boom in the '80s, after the recession of '82. Regan's economic policies worked admirably. We had 8 years of Clinton, who was not a proponet of Reganomics. It was under his...
