    Question regarding Moksha

Perhaps there was never a need to proceed, or to go any further. We are already exactly in that perfect moment of absolute oneness. It's just a matter of us realizing that. That could be why books and teachings about the subject just don't interest me. But I guess it is useful for some to get there.

    Question regarding Moksha

    You are absolutely correct.

    Question regarding Moksha

I believe that the understanding which the Hindus and Buddhists teach can come to some naturally without being told or being taught. For me personally, it's like it's just second nature. Maybe I was Hindu or Buddhist in a past life or something. I never read any books about it, but it's like I...

    Question regarding Moksha

For humans not so much because people are too hung up on worldly things...greed...lust...desire... In the animal kingdom, if humans weren't around it would work just fine. Nature finds a way. On a personal level, I do what I have to do to get by in the world, but I try not to dwell on it...

    Question regarding Moksha

That's why I'm not interested in seeking or attaining anything. I'm content with just being and letting nature sort itself out.

    Question regarding Moksha

That's a good point. There is a difference.

    Question regarding Moksha

Good response! What if one already realizes that Oneness? It just seems like there is nothing more to realize...may as well just enjoy the ride for the sake of the ride.

    Question regarding Moksha

Yes you are right, but I wasn't sure how to word it.

    Question regarding Moksha

It seems to me that the idea of being bound to anything is just a perceptual thing. Yes we must live in this perceptual world, but we are not in reality bound to it. Only our minds make us think that, but that's just my opinion.

    Question regarding Moksha

Not really "bound" to anything though. Just ***being*** as is it may for better or worse. Is there any negative consequence to this? To just being?

    Question regarding Moksha

From a Buddhist or Hindu perspective, what happens if I have no desire for liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth? I am quite content if that cycle continues as is. To me it's just another desire and I thought the whole point was to rid oneself of all desire.

    Consciousness

No one can say definitively what exactly consciousness is, so claiming it is fundamental to anything is nonsense.
  13. Runewolf1973

    Life is

Another reason why I don't like the term "life". Everyone seems to have a different opinion on what life is. A more accurate description would be to say that the brain was still interactive to some minimal extent after the heart stopped pumping.
  14. Runewolf1973

    Life is

No that is illogical and that is definitely not what I was claiming. Just the opposite actually. All phenomena observed in nature including that which we call life and consciousness are forms of interaction in varying degrees of complexity. The more complex/interactive something becomes, the...

    Life is

It would be another form of interaction...which is what consciousness is...albeit not as complex as that form of interaction we call consciousness.
  16. Runewolf1973

    Life is

Well... If he responds back to your post we will know with fair certainty and clear evidence to show that consciousness is another complex form of interaction. :D
  17. Runewolf1973

    Life is

That is the experience of living. There is a difference between the experience of carrying out one's life vs the state of physically being what it considered "alive" or "dead".

Why Life Does Not Really Exist

    Life is

:p Yah, you're right It's kinda vague. Haha!
  20. Runewolf1973

    Life is

I have my own, much simpler definition that is equally as accurate... Life: A complex form of interaction.
