    What time were they written?

    The New Testament Recovery Version, which I have a copy of, puts the time Matthew was written to be 37-40 A.D. shortly after the death and resurrection of our Savior. What proof is there of the time the Gospels were written? Also has anyone here heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls? Have they been aged?
