What kind of existence do you think you will have (bodily, soul, both) and why? What do you think your life would involve there - previously dead family members? Will you still need to eat?

I used quotations because I am talking about the concept of salvation that may or may not be referred to in the same way as it is in most sects of Christianity.
So, if I am an unsaved ferverent believer, am I denied the afterlife, the joy of being with God? Why or why not?
I only use that word when I actually do love that person.
Whatever anyone else does is fine by me, but I don't use the word lightly. One of my coworkers, who I've known for about 13-14 months, said she loved me on the phone the other day (in a non-sexual way, of course). That was strange.
