    Why the Star Wars theme?

Species 8472. Except that I call them Scythiaans and I have one aboard my USS Explorer. :D Pretty nice fellows when you get to know them... ;)

    Why the Star Wars theme?

Absolutely! :D Though in my fanfiction story which takes place in the 24th century, the Borg were defeated by the aliens from the Delta Quadrant. ;)

    Hi [2]

Welcome to RF. Yup, we'll be looking into this problem. For now it seems that a two letter word is too short for a thread title. There was another thread a few days ago entitled "Hi" with the same issues.

    Is there a reason...

Oh, and one more thing. Some of you are involved in discussions about the fairness of moderation. One of the premises of such, as has been pointed out many times, is due warnings for a member breaking any rules so that they are not banned before realizing what the problem even was. In other...

    Is there a reason...

I got to the bottom of this, finally. The whole Newsletter Forum had been set to moderation queue by default. It means that any new post made there was invisible to everyone except for the staff. In other words, nobody was deleting any posts there, they were waiting for someone to undelete them...

    Could someone link me, please?

Check again. :) Give me the full list of the forums you had been a member of, please. I'll try and set you up manually. Anyone else is having this problem?

    Could someone link me, please?

Your settings are default for a registered user, I can't see any glitch, either. Could someone else please tell us if they're seeing the Forum Announcements?

    Could someone link me, please?

Uhm... is that so? None of it? Must be a glitch, you should be able to see the forum news. I'll check it.

To those moderators who remain ...

Guys, the mods are aware of the suggestion to make some of the mod actions public. As I said, we are taking most of your suggestions into consideration. Personally, I am against it as I believe the forums should be focused on debating religious issues and general topics, not personal grudges. I...

To those moderators who remain ...

You're right, and welcome to RF. :) We normally don't, the thing is, we've had a crisis of sorts and we're now debating how to improve things and not to let it happen again so that nothing hinders the religious debates. And we're not so much interested in complaints here as we are in ideas on...

To those moderators who remain ...

No Llama, I didn't miss it. Not this time, at least. :D You know better than me that these discussions are handled pretty professionally. I also understand the curiosity: it's similar to how students are wondering what goes on behind the door of the Teachers' Room. (forgive the metaphor, I was a...

To those moderators who remain ...

That's okay, theNEWreality. And you're right, I was merely responding to Button's suggestion that we open up the moderators' "venting" places to public. I guess we all need some privacy, don't we? :)

To those moderators who remain ...

Uhm... Buttons, it's all cool. But, talking about closed doors, don't you think we should do away with private messages as well? This might also be a place where members vent about moderators and other members. I say, we open up the moderators' room but at the same time we publish all PMs from...
