    ji added to the name , is an honorific term , when a hindu addresses another politely , a man will call a woman mata ji , even by name Ratikala mata ji , polite address for a man is prabhu ji , ...

    so if speaking directly to a person l can use Terese ji , it is just like paying namaskars , ...saluting the soul within , ...some times you will also here a woman adress another woman prabhu , ...prabhu also refers to the indwelling lord (in the hart)so is without gender but it is a little confusing as generaly it is used to address males .....

    Ah, I always did it that way, never turning it clockwise. You can't turn the grin sideways, so I settle with my version. :)

    It is sad , the problem in the west is the culture if individual rights , as a hindu there is an understanding of Dharma and our conectedness it is not so Me , Me , Me !
    I like gardening because I'd love to be able to grow my own fruits and vegetables to live a more self-sufficient life. Unfortunately I'm not good at it. Purple is my favourite colour, as well. :)
