  • Dear metis,

I did not understand your comment, "You would have to stand in line anyway.". Can you please explain so I can decide how to respond?

Oh, I was joking in terms of people lining up to shoot me. Thanks for asking and not just assuming.
    Continuing from the thread...

Really! I live out in the County, but I'm in Windsor frequently. Very cool about almost becoming a Canadian.

Since I taught in one of the Detroit suburbs, our plan was that I would go to the University of Windsor and get the certification to teach somewhere in the Windsor area. However, as I mentioned, family comes first. BTW, I also had a job opportunity in Australia that was very tempting but I had to decline that as well and for the same exact reason. Have a great weekend.
Heyo, thanks for the "no winners on the podium" frubal

Thanks for the like on the "French Father tries to explain recent terror attacks to young son." thread.
Thanx for the big silly frubly!

Ah, it's probably due to my estrogen level being too high-- or is it my low testosterone level? Damn, I know I shoulda taken another year of biology.

Yes, I used to spend most of my time there but got away from it over a year ago. I've returned there but am going to be tapering off because it's closing plus I'd rather spend more time here. You? BTW, I hope you enjoy the High Holy Days.

Ya, but I'm likely to really mess you up because I'm going to be changing my avatar in about 3 weeks. This is by far the longest time I've ever kept the same one.
Thank you kindly. I doubt he could learn a lot from me, but I'm sure InfiniteLight could learn a lot if he just had a sincere dialogue with people here.
Where can I find some in depth information on the Festival of Harvest? I’m looking for some stuff from the first century. The gospel of John makes a connection between Jesus and the Festival. Without an understanding of the festival I can only make a vague connection. Much of the material on the internet is coming from a Christian view rather than a Jewish view.
