  • I like issues of governance, but politics can get stuffed. Screw the party lines. We could make progress if we didn't see in red and blue.
    I've been wrestling with my beliefs since becoming a non-Christian. I can't seem to shake the idea that there is a god.

    honestly, you don't have to. Most Atheists today are skeptical of the existence of god rather then deny god's existence so there is currently little difference between atheists and agnostics.

    The argument that there is no god relies heavily on seeking a materialist explanation for everything and therefore eliminating the possibility of a 'god of the gaps'. It's very unpopular nowadays. whilst I think it might be true, the burden of proof is extremely high.
