  • Thanks, ZooGirl. It is true that I disagree with several of your beliefs, but that is certainly no reason not to be kind or respectful with you.

It really is that simple, as I am sure you know already.
I think it is really cool how you keep changing religions. Its one of the best forms of seeking I know, and you always stay true to your self. I went through a stage like that a few years ago.
Have you made up your mind about religion and LGBT rights? :) Hope you're doing well anyway. Take care.
Hey there ZooGirl! Sorry this is late... but Welcome to the Forums! I'm Dezzie. I see that you are a coin collector? That's really awesome... I love collecting foreign coins and bills as well. What is one of the first coins you have gotten? One of my first was a German coin from the WWII era. :)

Again... welcome! Hope you have enjoyed it here so far!
Sorry to hear you have not been able to try any out.

However, it appears you've become an atheist since I last spoke to you. I hope it brings you peace. :)
    Yes, I am xkatz! :)

Odion, I have never tried non-Christian religious congregations as there aren't many, if any, in my area.
    Thanks for sharing!

I hope you find comfort in your path. If it brings you peace of mind, that's great to know. :)

Did you ever try non-Christian religious congregations, by the way, such as a Buddhist place or a Hindu one? And did you ever check out Sikhism and Jainism (as you haven't mentioned them but said you may have left some out)?

Can I have your opinions on some of the places you've been, like which ones you enjoyed (like, did you enjoy visiting the Mormon place of worship, etc) if you don't mind sharing? :)
Hey Noaidi, I have a pretty small rock and mineral collection. It is not at my apartment. Rather it is at my grandparent's house for safe keeping. I haven't collected rocks and minerals for quite some time either.
Hey there Odion. Yes, I have tried various religious congregations and it seems as though Catholicism brings me the most peace of mind and comfort. That is why I am going to stay with Catholicism.

As for the religions I have done research into, I'd have to say that I have done a little research into quite a few of them including Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity (of course since I am a Christian), NeoPaganism, Satanism, Occultism, Atheism, Agnosticism, Humanism, Unitarian Universalism, Messianic Judaism, and Deism. There may be others that I am leaving out by accident. As far as Christian denominations that I have done some research in to, those include Baptists, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Anglicans, United Church of Christ, Holiness denominations, Nazarenes, and Methodists.
Hi Zoogirl, hope you're well. :)

I've got two quick questions if you don't mind?

Have you tried visiting various religious congregations and seeing what you think, which one brings you your peace of mind? If so, which ones have brought you the most peace?

The other one is, what religions have you done research into?

    Just curious. :)
Requesting friendship to find out more about your rock and mineral collection. Mine is HUGE!!
