  • Thanks for the helpful message. I was led to, what I consider myself now, Agnosticism because of the fact that I'm unsure of what to believe. I feel my fear of everything religious causing me to not believe at all. Sometimes I think I'm athesist, and sometimes I think I'm agnostic; but there is never a time when I believe at all. I never slip back into the act of believing in a higher power. I do have a fear, but I don't believe it is my fear that is causing me to think this way. I believe it is because I observe people who are religious and can tell when they are faking, therefore causing me to think a "higher power" is fake as well. Though, my fear does play a small part in my beliefe system also. I'm just wondering to myself almost everyday if I'll ever find another path.
@:I was meditating, and was led to your post! Thank you for leading me to that important revelation. Loving God IS and CAN BE a meditation. Thank you.

Not chinu, "God" has used chinu to lead you to that important revelation and that because you are serious for "Him" :)

Chinu is just the method used by "God".

    "God is love,love is God"

    _/\_Chinu.
I apologize for it taking me so long to get back to you. If you would have given me this information a year ago, I would have gladly researched it. However my research on the religions of God is coming to a close. It's time to start living them. Thank you, nevertheless.
The Ebionites may interest you, but they weren't really Gnostics, more like Jews. There are a few still around claiming to be Nazarenes and Ebionites, and most I've ever met claim to be Messianic Jews.
"O YE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MINDS TO KNOW AND EARS TO HEAR! The first call of the Beloved is this: O mystic nightingale! Abide not but in the rose-garden of the spirit. O messenger of the Solomon of love! Seek thou no shelter except in the heba of the well-beloved, and O immortal phoenix! Dwell not, save on the mount of faithfulness. Therein is thy habitation, if on the wings of thy soul thou soarest to the realm of the infinite and seekest to attain they goal."
Welcome to RF! I had a phoenix as my avatar for a bit, and I've got one tattooed on me.
