  • So yes, PA is IMO stunning in many places. I love it. I was in Ohio years ago, and don't remember much about the land; what I do remember is that it was much flatter than it is here, and there were not nearly so many trees. But that could be due to the fact that I didn't see much of the countryside, except what was within an hour or so of Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus. I have a photo album of one of my FAVORITE spots in PA (on earth, in fact): Ricketts Glen. I will upload, and you can get at least a sense of what I mean, perhaps. : )
I haven't been to Wales, but I've heard it's quite spectacular in places. I hope you get to go where you desire.
    Hi Herr Heinrich

Sorry for not replying sooner - I've been away for the last 6 weeks or so.
I live on an island off the west coast of Scotland. And yes, it is beautiful! I feel incredibly priviliged to live here. Thanks for the query.
I have not done Aikido formally, but I have much respect for it. Ueshiba sensei was an amazing martial artist in my opinion. I don't think you can go wrong with a good aikido dojo. It all depends on the instructor I guess. :D
That is the main mantra  Scripture-wise, they pretty much only rely on the Lotus Sutra; in fact, Nichiren means "Sun Lotus".
Some do and some don't. I imagine many practice it w/ Shinto, since Nichiren Buddhism is from Japan.
It's simplicity and the fact that you can easily practice it alone or at home, but that could apply to several sects. I guess also that it seems fairly flexible when it comes to god and their neat chant (Nam myoho renge kyo).
TBH, not much, but I don't feel it because I find it fairly confusing and paradoxical.
Because I feel I have a good understanding of it and Mahayana Buddhism appeals to me more so than Theravada.
We do certainly talk about a lot of nonsense back and forth :D

As for me, I am doing fairly well, thanks for asking. I am currently looking into Nichiren Buddhism. Other than that, not much is new w/ me.
No. I've been out for a couple of years. However I am planning to "someday" return.
