Personally I don't consider what I wear to be a hijab it's a veil to me

I'm not sure. Hijaab means veil which doesn't really mean headscarf in the past, and the word for headscarf is a different one used in Quran. Hijaab is an over all life style as well by Muslims, in which, they try to be modest. These days people might just call it based on headscarf. (to be continued)

So you maybe on both accounts a Hijabi. But they may not call you that if it's not done out intention to veil yourself as required by God. I don't know but good question.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Like i said I don't consider me a hijabi cuz I'm not a muslim to me this is just a veil I wear to honor my gods. And I also don't wear it outta modesty which differs me from why Muslims wear it.

Muslims believe in social order to be guided by God. I think most wear out of trust of God and Mohammad (s) but not their personal judgment of what is modest but God's judgment.

I wear my veil for these reasons: To protect from negative energy, to honor my gods, to focus my mind, as a symbol of my faith, and to show my vow of celibacy I recently took. I was wearing it longer before that vow but I'll be wearing it more often all the time rather then just when I want to in public cuz this vow. Also I wear it cuz it's comfortable. Really comfortable.

Oh and in some pagan religions the soul rests in the head. Makes sense to cover it

Where do you get information about your gods and who they are and what they want from you?

I read about them, talk to them through prayer, do divination like tarot, or runes, meditate among other things like dream interpetation. But mostly I don't do things just for my gods. I do them for myself. I've always said I serve myself over anyone else as a left handed practitioner. I may obey a deity, but I may not and I do serve them in the sense I do worship them and leave offerings.

I may do things they ask because they asked me to. But in the end I decide what's right for me and what I do regarding my religious beliefs. In fact while that vow of celibacy was to the gods it was also and foremost to me. I decided that on my own and just asked the gods of sex, romance, and celibacy to help me if they wish

Mostly my faith as a pagan isn't about the gods but about nature and being nature oriented

Knowing yourself is the religion - so who and what you rely on to know yourself - is the religion. I think we have similar beliefs in unseen, it's just we rely on different forces.

Perhaps. Tho from reading your posts we can differ on some things. Y'all Muslims submit to God. I submit to none but me. Y'all see God as perfect I see no deity as such

Yeah that would be a big difference. To me, without a perfect judge to assess me - I would not have a true value, and would not be able to know myself.

I kinda envy Muslims a bit. Y'all got a book and other Muslims to guide you. I have no one to guide me or a teacher. And my path as a pagan and luciferian is very hard.

To me, I don't rely on other Muslims that much. They attribute to the religion too many false things and big horrible things. I rely on God and the reminder and the family of the reminder. That's it.

Understood. Imma make a thread on veiling and benefits of it and tag you.

Why are you choosing celibacy though? How will that serve you?

Maybe we should open up a pm if you want to keep talking about my beliefs. But in answer to your question...its for 3 years. Im 19. Wouldn't it be better to take time to know myself rather then worry about dating?
