Always good to have someone debunking conspiracy thoughts. Already too much fake news nowadays

Thank you. I do my best to take out my mistakes (I edit most msg a few times after posting them the first time).

Aha, now it makes sense, I never use spell checking, so did not think of that. They are pretty good nowadays. Google Translate has improved also immensely in just a few years, as well as speech to text. Really handy these things.

Have you tried deepl.com. Translation is very good using AI and it gives options to select alternative words/ phrases to allow for dialect words and different uses of words.

It doesn't do speech to text thought

Thank you. I only used Google Translate so far. I will have a look into deepl.com.

Speech to text works perfect on my Huawei Smartphone. I am not a real China fan, but I must admit that Chinese Huawei Smartphones work very good for me.
Thank you for the frubal in Synchronicity. Maybe we are sharing on this forum with a purpose? :)

In short modern scientific skepticism isn't really skepticism. Here is an example of the old school one:
"Man is the measure of all things: of the things that are, that they are, of the things that are not, that they are not."

This example feels a lot like the Eastern Wisdom I have seen

Well, skepticism in the West before Christianity took over had some overlap with Eastern Wisdom. Then Western culture became the One True God and The Real Truth.
Thanx for the blasphemy as religious speech froobe.

    You are welcome
Always nice to see someone being sane when it comes to issues like "to blaspheme or not" and "to kill over blaspheme or not"
Shalom, I hope you are well :)

of all the `paths` untried, maybe I'll just sit and watch !

"Sounds like a plan" to me. Sit and watch is the key according to all the Saints and Sages I have read/heard so far.

Thanks for the creative frube on The changing demographics of Christianity in recent times - What does it all really mean?
But there was no creativity in it. My best friend was on a committee studying the problem of declining religious numbers some time ago. My post included their findings

You came up with a few points, so I call that creative. But I agree you could be more creative.

I think you were Christian in the past, as was I. So we both left.

I love to get yo the root of things. If I am at my top creativity I can reduce the root cause 'leaving Christianity' into 1 word, medium creativity maybe 3 to 7 words. I am curious what your 1 word would be why you left.
