PM Quagmire and ask to join the private Jewish forum for a world free of Christians and slighter laxer rules :D You only see it if you're a member. It's a private forum for Jews, essentially.
I like your persistence in things.

Thanks but sometimes, some arguments aren't worth pursuing. Discretion and self control are important. I have, occasionally forgotten that...

Thanks for the like. At this point all of us arguing against him are basically doing it for the good of anyone reading the thread, not him :|

Most arguing (especially in an online forum or chat room) is not to convince your antagonist. it is to inform the observer who might think that if you have no response, you concede the point.

thanks for the likes -- I was actually planning to skip this entire thread becaause it was useless. People spending time telling me what I believe...and work is gearing up so I have less time. But they sucked me in again. Some levels of stupid I just can't ignore. Sadly. Hope all is well.

If one is learning to write Hebrew letters - you know, purely hypothetical - must that person use the written form of Hebrew or the one commonly seen printed? Say this person has motor skills problems and had trouble tying laces and riding bikes when most kids could and whose handwriting is always going to be a bit crap.

there are 2 (common) forms of Hebrew letters -- print and script. The Torah text is in a fancy print form but most people write in the script form. When children learn (at least in the U.S.) they learn the block/print form first and then the script. If one is learning to read and write, both have use.

So theoretically speaking one could use print form to write generally?

most writing is in script unless you are in the printed (newspaper, books) milieu.

You put up with SZ much better than I could have, for pages and pages!

Thanks for that. I do find it frustrating that the people are looking for a fight and can't keep track of what exactly is being discussed. Deep breath and like that. Have a great day.

Thanks so much for you approval of my rant. I just get fed up hearing Islam getting the credit for things that Islamic scholars, individual Muslims, deserve the credit for.

I agree -- if we can't cast the blame on the group, we should refrain from assigning the credit to the group. Also, Seth tends to say annoying things...
