Blessings Metis. and Question: What do you understand about Elijah and Moses appearing in the mount of transfiguration?

Only in terms of my interpretation. Elijah was assumed into heaven but was to return to introduce the Messiah, which is what John the Baptist did. Moses was to lead his people to freedom, which is what Jesus did in the spiritual sense. Both disappear leaving Jesus, to me symbolic that it is he who is the "final answer". How about your interpretation?
