Been to Salat. Wife and I spent two weeks in a farmhouse near there. As I recall, Salat was the nearest town to us. Beautiful town...Beautiful area.

You are pulling my leg. Lancashire hotpot…a lamb or mutton stew. Surely you must have heard of it? Not a patch on Welsh ‘cawl’, but passable.

Thatcher played a part, for sure. She once referred to us (miners) as the ‘enemy within!’

    Rouffignac…that’s the one! Many thanks.

If ever I return to that area, I’ll have an eye for your work at Lasceau 4.

    Loved the Mildred/Wilbur tale.

Thanx for the theory of mean people frubal (an ancient RF term for a <like>).
And for the thoughtful jerk frubal.
And for fruballing buying used atoms.
And for the behind the back name calling frubing.

That’s amazing. I wish I could have been there to see your face!

Do you ever wonder what his life was like (I don’t mean the people in general, I mean his life)? What he experienced as a child….what he did as an adult….his understanding of his world? Fascinating just to imagine it. Congratulations.

Here’s a joke from the Rhondda Valley, in South Wales:

An English anthropologist wandered into Dai’s antique shop in Treherbert. Looking around he spotted a human skull on a table. ‘And who is this?’ he asked.

‘This’, said Dai, proudly. ‘This is Owain Glyndŵr, the last….true…Prince of Wales.’

‘I’ll take it!’ cried the anthropologist. And off he went.

About a year later he was back. Looking around he spotted yet another skull, but smaller than the first. ‘And who is this?’ he asked.

‘This’, said Dai, proudly. ‘This is Owain Glyndŵr, the last….true…Prince of Wales.’

‘But you sold me his skull a year ago! Protested the anthropologist.

‘Indeed I did’, said Dai. ‘Indeed I did. But this is Owain…when he was a boy!’

Have a great day, and very best regards.
thanx for the view...graphs don't get it !!! Words do !
