    Funny thing is i see the news and don't know these people.
    The muslims i know (admittedly not all) at least understand the basics of science and see the quran as a religious text, not an instruction manual. I only come across Muslims (and Christians) with very odd ideas on forums.

    The "Scientific Miracles in the Qur'an" is actually a fairly significant effort largely funded by the Saudi's. There are probably dozens of threads on RF alone on this topic and nowhere I have seen any Muslim change their mind that the "theories" they promoted were not valid.

    Check out a fellow named Harun Yahya (Aka. Adnan Oktar). Big money behind him.
