  • I'm glad you found that list funny. But I will have you know I haven't actually done *all* the things on it, believe it or not!
Congrats on surpassing 10,000 posts! Because that means something on the internet!

...Again, since some of your posts did a vanishing act. Also, as I've been reminded, since we're not conversing privately anymore, I would like it cleared up that the 3rd party makes that ok? And feel free to delete this comment after the fact if you want.
That last post was a complete burn! It brings to mind the time you laughed at some of my arguments when I was a xian and your doing that was one of the things that gave me pause to consider them. Perhaps a good debate tactic if utilised in the correct manner!!

I just don't like the guy because he calls himself Judeo-Christian.

I argued with him about it once, not sure if you saw, because I had beef with it too, but unfortunately he has the freedom on here to call himself a spoon if he likes.

I'm not on your profile telling you to look at my posts:likes ratio, I'm just not doing that. Neither am I well wishing you!
RE: South Park. How's the elephant? I think I almost wet myself. You are a peach. Be well.

Haha! No, it's because Kirran was at some place that had an elephant for a while.

I remember but the comment still looked hilarious given that he is a Hindu. :)

For no legitimate reason, I am on Tumah's profile and read this exchange, and wonder what it was about.
When I'm reading a thread and thinking, I am so glad I'm not a Christian anymore making embarrassing arguments haha.
    Thanks Tumah,
When I was saying imperfect I meant it would be incomplete. Isn't that correct?
To me it looks like it could be translated I AM because I AM or I Exist because I Exist. Is that correct?
If it was Aleph Hey Waw Hey, how would it be pronounced?

I understood what you were saying and I was explaining that the prefix makes it imperfective, not imperfect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperfect#Semitic_languages

The middle word "asher" means "that" or "which".

I do not know how it would be pronounced, the same as I don't know how the Tetragrammaton was pronounced.
    Tumah,
Can I ask you some things re: the phrase Ehyeh asher Ehyeh?
It is translated in so many different ways? Aren't the verbs Qal with prefixes making it imperfect. Or can verbs of being, cover past, present, and future tenses.
Also, is it possible that in the past HYH could have been written HWH, and the sound of the word would have been closer to sounding like the name of God?
    Thanks,

It's imperfective aspect not imperfect tense. It can mean a current and/or future action, not usually past.

The Y and W are often interchangeable in the writing. I don't see why this one needs to sound more like the Tetragrammaton than any of the other Names of G-d.
You're up late. Could be making hitbodedut instead of RFing! :p Or have I been listening to too many Breslovers again??? :p (In other words, I hope you're doing well).
Thanks for all the likes you've given me recently :) makes me smile after my dad has just been berating me for translating psalms (I do this to aid language learning plus devotion). Hope you had a good holiday :)

No I'm not in Saudi Arabia; I'm actually in your wardrobe, so that means you have a leak. A bad one. :O
