  • Thanx for the dreamy fruby!
I just noticed that you have the early Dodge Bros emblem in your avatar.
It's their dark vs light triangle 6 pointed star design!
    Early car buff?

While I am an early car buff and know exactly what emblem you speak of, my avatar is the the seal of Theosophy. The triangles in that have representations: the upward pointing triangle representing consciousness, and the downward symbolizes matter/substance. They are intertwined as to represent neither can exist without the other.
    मुझे नहीं पता कि मैं क्या टाइप कर रहा हूं, लेकिन हिंदी बहुत ही कलात्मक दिख रही है।

    मैं समझ सकता हूँ। यह पूर्णतया वैध (valid) है l
salix, this is sort of pure hindi rather than hindustani, what we use in normal life. otherwise we would have said 'theek hai' (it is ok) or even may have used 'valid' unhesitatingly depending on whom we were talking to.

I'd like to learn both Hindi and Sanskrit, but likely won't have the opportunity to do so. I can pick out words and phrases upon hearing or reading them or when they're written in the English alphabet, but unfortunately, both languages in Devanagari are just aesthetically pleasing script for me.

Hi friend, I'm sorry to be the reason for you to post that which you did. I hope you can forgive me for the sadness I may have caused you to feel at your memory and loss. God bless you.

Please don't carry any burden for being a catalyst for any sadness, as you were not. It's an event that happened in my life that changed my entire worldview, and the OP brought it to my thoughts this morning, hence my initial response in the thread. Don't feel you caused any sadness. I've learned to view her passing without emotion under certain circumstances.

I am a strong atheist and a strong 'advaitist'. But I am not an anti-theist. That does not work in India or even in the family. :D

Greetings Terese. Of course you may ask.

I'm hoping Truth to me is no different that Truth to anyone else. Truth is that which is in accordance with fact or reality.

    Why do you ask?

And thank you for the warm welcome. Very nice to make your acquaintance.
