  • FYI, the 'allie' guy posts on this forum as well - justatruthseeker. He also declares that all human 'races' (and by extension all species) arose via hybridization, and that no mutation is needed for any of this, it is all due to mixing of 'allies' during reproduction (which is where he claims mutations happen, but that these do not affect evolution).

LOL...that's hilarious. Given his posts here at RF, it's hardly surprising.

BTW, Hockeycowboy, nPeace, and Deeje are all Jehovah's Witnesses. Both nPeace and Deeje have me on ignore because I dared to suggest that them being JWs might play a role in shaping their views on evolution. So just a heads up there.
    Thanx for froobling me limerick!
And for the annoying militant atheists froobal.
And for furbing atheists still being in the game cuz a bug became a watch.
I am assuming that the powers that be censored your post, "Do creationists think they're doing well here?". I think that doing so was a grave error, since it is spot on.

Yup. Apparently it's against forum rules to quote another poster in a new thread without their permission. The admin also said they started the evolution vs. creationism board specifically to put it in a corner because it gets so heated.

When I said that one of the reasons for that is because the forum allows creationists to lie and make false accusations, but punishes anyone who points it out, the admin agreed and basically said that's part of being neutral.

Allow me to introduce you to the National Center for Science Education's excellent tome, "Not in Our Classrooms." You can call most any IDer or creationist, a liar and a fool with quotes from it ... that is permitted.
At least, you know something about science, Mr. Fisker. But then fisker about others.

If you truly think your thread about Darwin and racism made any point other than exposing you as rather dim, well.....I feel sorry for ya.
If you want to say something to me about that thread we were debating on, message me privately! I am too busy to debate a hundred people at once on there, and it has deteriorated into a lot of nonsense from everyone! If you want to have a mature discussion, message me! If you don't want to message me, that is fine too! I am not reading anymore of what people post there

As far as me belonging to a religion that doesn't let me believe in evolution! The same could be said that I belong to a religion that doesn't let me believe in Hell fire! I chose my religion because I can't fathom that idea and I can see the Bible doesn't teach it!

It could be said that I belong to a religion that doesn't let me go to war! I don't believe Christians should fight in war, so that I why I chose that religion! It isn't that I chose the religion and then fall into line with the beliefs

And with evolution, I believed my religion before I thought too deeply about evolution, but what I have considered of it, it does sound far fetched!
    Hi Jose:
I attempted to answer your comments on the thread "yes but how did it get started in the first place"
    Hope you enjoy them.
    Have a great day!

    Heneni,

If you haven't noticed, I realized the futility of trying to explain and discuss the science of evolutionary biology with someone whose views on the subject are based on something else. Thus, I've been attempting to steer the conversation to the real root issue here, but you are resisting fiercely. Why?
    Heneni,

So why in the world would any sane person try and teach someone something that they've already declared "I'll never accept it"?

And I've been a professional biologist for 14 years now, so I certainly don't need lessons in the scientific method, thank you.
Wake up. :woohoo: its time to teach you the scientific method and you can teach me evolution jargon. But you must know one thing...im never going to believe we came from a blob of goo or from an ape.
"Agnostic" is close, although I feel "disinterested agnostic" is more accurate. By that, I mean I've concluded that the existence of gods isn't something I spend much time on.

Sure I'll be your friend. Now, what does that mean exactly? ;-)
