  • Yes of course, I remember that area from way back before I was a little kid in High School at Santa Ana High back in the 60's One of these days we can swap stories of that adventurous era.
We may have already met, my highschool was in southern California (where I entered the Faith) and my univ. studies were in SanFrancisco & in Humboldt County.college --until I moved to Panama

I'm more a "Southern Calif Boy" around Redlands Ca.... but any way Allah'u'Abha!
We're very grateful and thankful for our life and experience! My family has deep roots going back more than a century. May God be praised.
Really liked your comments on the "promised land". Even this unrepentant atheist can certainly relate. Accepted symbolism masks so much of reality that it becomes almost unrecognizable.
Good to see you Arthra, wondered where you had wandered too :) , hope you are well and Happy. I hope the Markets go well. Regards Tony
Uh no ... No one has yet compared me with Larry David but I'll take that as a compliment MD... Is that a medical opinion?
Hey, art! Alláh-u-Abhá! I had a question about God in our Faith: how do we reconcile our understanding that it's the same God of all people with the reality that there are many different conceptions as to who or what ‘God’ is in different Religions?

I think the more we're involved in inter-faith movements both locally and internationally the more we can appreciate the similarities... Yes there are varied laws and ordinances but spiritually we have a lot in common.
Here they are, in case you need clarity.

    Do Not Deny God
    Do Not Blaspheme God
    Do Not Murder
Do Not Engage in Incestuous, Adulterous or Homosexual Relationships
    Do Not Steal
Do Not Eat of a Live Animal
Establish Courts/Legal System to Ensure Law Obedience
Hey, art! Alláh-u-Abhá! I have a question for you about something important: a friend of mine and I were having a discussion about the Seven Laws of Noah. He tells me that those Laws are binding on all non-Jews. His opinion, however, is that non-Jewish religions (the Bahá’í Faith in particular) do(es) not satisfy the requirements of the Laws. I counter that they do. Tell me, art, what do you think?

Thanks for your question DJ_sXe ... I suppose as you know that the most recent version of the laws and ordinances have been given us. I haven't as far as I know consumed a "live" animal except perhaps accidentally.
Hey arthra, Alláh-u-Abhá! it's NOW been formally confirmed: I AM a member of the Bahá’í Faith!

Arthra, Alláh-u-Abhá! I just wanted to let you know that I'm so eternally, so deeply in love with my faith in God and in Bahá’u’lláh as His Messenger for our Day and Age!
Well DJ_sXe ... If we were in love and wanted a family we could obtain our parents consent and agree to abide by God's Will...
Hey, art, Alláh-u-Abhá! I hope everything in your life is going smoothly! Listen, I have a dying question: as a Bahá’í, how would you feel if you fell in love with a beautiful woman, but discovered that she was a Christian?
