Once you hear about the game, you are playing, whether you want to or not, for the rest of your life; so consider carefully before you continue.
The object of the game is not to think about the game. Once you think about the game, you've lost the game; you can go on losing the game every day for the rest of your life, but the important thing is that once you've lost the game, you must announce out loud "I just lost the game," so that everyone else in the room loses, too. The point is not to trick other people into losing, as some people incorrectly assume, because once you get the idea to do it, you've already lost the game. The point is to see how long you can go without thinking about something that you're not supposed to think about. As a friend of mine said, "I love the idea that I could be 80 years old and on my deathbed, and my last words could be 'I just lost the game.'"
I just lost the game.
