One of my buddies has created a mutant conversion for the Shadowrun system and i'm trying to come up w/ a cool superhero/mutant x-men-type name for a character idea i have. To give you a general concept it's sorta like Raven from Teen titans crossed with Phoenix...but a guy...he can only use his powers when he becomes flame form, which takes on the shape of a black "phoenix" type image...some psionic abilities etc.

Trying to come up w/ a cool name w/o blatently ripping of a previous comic name....any thoughts would be helpful...thanx!

I love Raven!! (both the bird and the teen titan)

Can't think of a character name at the moment, but the Bennu comes to mind. The bennu bird is a legendary phoenix like bird which was thought to be the reincarnated soul of Osiris. It is also associated with Ra.

Reads like a male Phoenix. Call him Corona... and it's not the Beer either. :tsk:

It's not easy trying to create a name for a mutant.

Wildfire has been used. Name of a talking horse that was created in 1986 by Hanna-Barbera.

Back in the 70's Wildfire was also the name of a song by Micheal Martin Murphy. It is one of my favorite sad songs.

WyldFyreBlayze, FyreWyldBlayze, WyldBlayze, WyldFyre, or FyreWyld could be alternatives though
