I don't have one, as I'm more into tattoos than extra holes in my head but if I were to get one, it would be the industrial.

Just tell 'em it's a shiny zit.I'm a bit nervous on what the workplace will say. I'm going in tomorrow, I'll let y'all know. I don't think they will say much, because they hired someone with a nose stud. So I think I'm okay, I think I'll just shock everyone who knows me as "Becky the good Mormon".
Uh, Becky... You said you were planning on doing some "un-Mormon" things. Wouldn't you be disappointed if nobody even noticed that "Becky the good Mormon" had done something "un-Mormon"? When you choose to march to a different drummer than "good Mormons" do, this is something you've got to expect.I think I'll just shock everyone who knows me as "Becky the good Mormon".

Becky, the nose piercing is really cute.
I think it's adorable. I got my nose done about a year ago. It takes a long time for it to stop hurting entirely. Mine still bothers me every once in a while. The only thing I don't like about mine is it hangs out sometimes and it looks like I have a booger hanging out of my nose.

I can say I never heard of that one before. I would go back for sure. Needless to say, it still looks very cute on you Becky.
So it was cute for a day or two, but this pain is not worth it.
I'm getting it taken out on Tuesday.
*high five* The metal sensitivity is part of the reason why I haven't gotten more piercings. Even belt buckles give me trouble sometimes. I have one pair of pants that is a little too big for me (but which I love to death); the belt buckle sometimes rises above the waistline a tiny bit when I'm sitting down and rests against the skin of my tummy... it'll start tingling/burning within a half hour of contact.I have three in one ear, four in the other. I have a lot of trouble with peircings - my body really doesn't like metal - so I think I'm probably done. (Similarly, all my tattoos are black, because I have bad reactions to colored ink.)
It's called nickel dermititis. Many alloys contain nickel, including steel. It's in belt buckles, earrings and other jewelry, and so on and so forth. This allergy is fairly common: about 1 in 7 people have it, more women than men. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/nickel-allergy/DS00826/DSECTION=1Sorry it's a bit off-topic, but is this common? I have weird skin (my hands will get a rash if you look at them funny, for example), so if anyone has "reactions", it'd likely be me. I'm a bit curious for my own sake.
