I guess it depends who I'm talking to. Sometimes I just say Christian, others I'll give more details of what I believe since "christian" can mean different things to different people.

If it's not going to be a huge conversation, I just say Christian. If there's follow-up that leads into doctrinal issues, I clarify with LDS/Mormon so that I don't confuse them...too much.

When someone asks you what your religion is, do you answer with Christian, or your specific church. I know some people who just say Christian, and others who say baptist, orthodox, catholic, etc. I'm wanting to know everyones personal preference.

Myself I go to a baptist church but when people ask my religion I just say Christian unless I'm specifically asked for denomination.

When asked my religion, I say Christianity.
When asked my denomination, I say just Christian.
And when they press me to name a denomination, which they undoubtedly will, I say nondenominational.

Easy to remember!

am one of Jehovahs witnesses , and yes we are christians ,or followers of christ .Jesus christ is our leader

You didn't answer the question. When someone asks your religion, do you say Christian or do you say Jehovah's Witness?

I usually say both. I'm a Roman Catholic Christian.:)

Because in reality, that would be Jesus Christ's Witnesses, if you believe Jehovah is Jesus Christ. :)
Jehovah is not Jesus christ , but we listen to Jesus because Jehovah said to listen to Jesus . and we are followers of Jesus christ , but we are also making known Jehovahs name, the same way that Jesus made known his fathers name.

(Matthew 6:9) "YOU must pray, then, this way: "‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.

(John 17:6) "I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word.
(Acts 15:14) Sym´e·on has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name.

(Ezekiel 36:23) ‘And I shall certainly sanctify my great name, which was being profaned among the nations, which YOU profaned in the midst of them; and the nations will have to know that I am Jehovah,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘when I am sanctified among YOU before their eyes.

(Ezekiel 38:23) And I shall certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah.’

...
Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask, but if Jesus isn't Jehovah, who is?

I answer this way: I am a Christian. I am apart of the Southern Baptist Convention.
