I don't understand why the dog starts hobbling halfway through walks and I end up carrying her but when we get home and I start getting her breakfast she does 25 laps of the house at the speed of light. I think I'm being conned by a female... it wouldn't be the first time.

Mine has discovered if he stands in front of the TV and whimpers a little, the wife will give him something to eat. I trained her to stop instead of him. It seemed easier. I don't want a fat, sick dog.
