No one can convince another that their religion is false unless that person wants to be. I take little stock in the creeds of men for instance and cant be swayed otherwise. The New Testament is the final authority (the Old Testament is for lessons about God's nature not law -1 Corinthians 10:1-11) now in my eyes and it is up to individuals to find what Jesus expects of you for Him to add you to the Church. Only God will let us know who is right and wrong when this all ends. Anyway, back to the idea of sin and birth.
I. Sin - the breaking of God's commands Gen. 3. Romans 5:12-13, James 1:12-17
James 1: 14-15 "But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceivedm it gives birth to sin and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. " NKJV
Infants are incapable of having their own desires that are contrary to God's Will. They only know the basics of living: hunger, feeling, happiness, etc
II. The idea of original sin is refuted by the Old Testament. Ezekiel 18:19-21
God may change the path to Him, but He doesnt change.
