Insipred by two of Morning-Star's threads, pick the bands from this list.

I like, all of them.

I actually thought for some reason (maybe you mentioned it or something) that many of these choices are rather young for your age. I would think the majority of people who like. AC/DC, GnR, Iron Maiden, and Mgadeth especially are things that I could see being liked by people in their young forties or late thirties. Of course, I could be completely making this up about how old you are. :p

I was actually thinking the same thing. No offense Michel.

On a side note: (I'm sure Aqualung is thinking the same thing.) Where's Van Halen on that list?

Really? As I said, I like them all, even Chuck Berry, and I'm 20. But now that I think about it, most people my age that I know either don't know, don't like, or aren't very familiar with Iron Maiden or Megadeth. AC/DC and GNR are popular though.

I could only fit 15. Or, I would have included Zepplin, Van Halen, Lamb of God, Def Leopard, and Rob/White Zombie.

I think that's only because they like to fancy themselves fans of rock, but those are just the only ones they have heard of. Because for the most part, people who like those bands like Welcome to the Jungle and Back in Black, but nothing really else.

Good point. The more I thought about it, it became clearer those groups are more or less "cult icons" for a bigger part of my age group. I do know alot of people who can only name one Deep Purple song, as if Deep Purple is a one hit wonder band.
