For those of u that are unaware: There is a phenomenon that when synchronize Pink Floyd's Dark side of the Moon and watch Wizard of Oz, "Dark Side of the Rainbow" is created and becomes an out of this world experience!
see:

and

It has been debated many times over whether this was intentional or a mistake, or wut to do after the "dark side of the moon" album/cd ends.

However my true purpose in bringing this up is to discuss Kommunism.
Actually not really, i am wondering for those of u that have seen it if u feel there is a deeper more spiritual, borderline religious/cultist meaning to it. When i watched it (and i've only seen the first black and white bit) i was amazed at this (despite not taking any drugs). So any takes on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Dark side of the Rainbow!:jam:
I've done it before and it syncs up pretty well until the CD plays all the way through...then it gets a little fudged up....
But it is only truely mind blowing if your high:D

ive seen it also, but the cd just repeated when it got to the end. and you can hear different stuff match up to the same songs you heard in the beginning of the song. very awesome

Pink Floyd was questioned about this in an interveiw.....their reply, when the wrote the album they were watching wizard of oz.....seeing as how it came around the time they wrote the album. So no, no cospiracy, no cult, no great mystery...sorry to ruin the fun.

It's sounds like somebody took some acid with Wizard on TV and Dark Side playing. Now that would have been a fun trip. I once watched The Wall while I was tripping, but I didn't like being inside for those experiences, so most of my trips were on nature, not music.

I had a great time at Busch Gardens on some purple gel once. But the park was not crowded at all. We had a great time and rode everything 3 or 4 times, and the animals were amazing!!!!

Wow, that was a long time ago. I haven't done that since the kids came, that would not be a fun trip. I'm afraid I'd spend all night checking to make sure the kids were still breathing.

LOL! They had one of them parachute rides where you in up in the air then drop you. Thought I was going to lose it! Think it was 4 way window pane but won't swear to that. Been over 25 years since my party days. Heck, I don't even drink anymore. But still like my Classic Rock!

I actually get very sick on rides, and usually won't ride them, but the acid somehow settled my stomache.

I've never done any drugs besides alcohol:p, but I've liked PInk Floyd for many years. I watched the Wizard of Oz with Dark Side of the Moon 'soundtrack' several years ago, and it was uber-cool, almost spooky, how well it works. Finding out Waters et. al. were watching the Wizard when they wrote it doesn't ruin the coolness or fun of it to me.
